The right length for all palletsTime is one of the biggest and most important factors that put a logistics contractor and their warehouse workers under constant pressure. The goods must be transported ever more quickly to their desired destination and of course the loading of goods in containers or on a truck plays a key role. As a rule, these goods are packed on DIN-standard Euro pallets. But of course there are exceptions, because often the goods come on unconventional non-standard pallets, which are simply not subject to any DIN standard. In addition, there are packages with excess length and excess width which have to be loaded as well. Thats why logisticians often rely on our high-quality and robust fork extensions. These are easily mounted on the forks, which are already on a forklift, and this alone extends the loading area by a few metres. We have individual extensions, which vary depending on the width of the fork. As a result, over-length packages can be quickly and safely transported and manoeuvered. Furthermore, for example, two Euro pallets can be transported at once with a forklift truck. The fork extension are made of sturdy steel and has a maximum load capacity of 4000 kg. For the safety of the operator as well as for the protection of the loaded pallets together with packaged goods, the fork extension is flattened at both ends and free from sharp edges. The fork extensions are covered with a sturdy and scratch-resistant black finish.
This fork extension is an efficient investment in the future, because it saves a lot of time in a warehouse or in a forwarding company and is therefore more economical. The investment in fork extensions pays for itself after a short time and thus brings cost savings in logistics. A long service life and a low-maintenance operation are absolutely guaranteed with this quality product. This purchase is sure to pay off for you more than quickly. Please note that the fork to which the extension is attached should be smaller than the dimensions given here.
Please note that, for static reasons, the fork length must be at least 60% of the total extension!
This compliance with the load capacity and the load centre of gravity distance of the truck must always be guaranteed.
Length of maximum fork extension = fork length / 0.6
